Connecting the Loaner TV to the Polycom ViewStation

[Nov 23, 2009 14:09] Web access to Microsoft Live@edu accounts now works.

The loaner JVC TVs only have a 12 inch screen but that is adequate for a single user or proof-of-concept.

The Polycom output cable is actually a bundle of four cables. There are three connections to make on the back input panel of the TV:

  • Audio (red RCA): far right upper jack
  • Audio (white RCA): far right lower jack
  • Video (yellow S-Video): lower middle, 4 pins

Just let the yellow RCA connector dangle.

On the front of the TV there is an Input Select to the left of the power toggle. Since you plugged the audio cables into the "B" channel, select the "B" input. A green light will show beside the selected channel.
