Certification Services

ITC and U.Va. Human Resources offer training leading to University-recognized certification in three areas: Computing Survival Skills, the Web, and Training of Technical Trainers. Certification exams for Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) are also available.
Computing Survival Skills
A certification program that trains U.Va. staff members in basic computing skills so they can provide effective computer support within their departments.
Web Certification
A program that provides training and skills needed to create and maintain web pages in the University environment.
Training of Technical Trainers
A 4-day workshop designed for people who have been involved in technical training, but who lack an apprenticeship in training theory, design, and delivery.
