All academic departments, administrative offices and faculty for University of Virginia classes may submit material to be broadcast. All material must be for a University academic or administrative purpose and must be submitted by the department or division requesting to have the material broadcast. The broadcast request must be accompanied by written approval of the department head, dean, or vice president.

- I. Eligibility for Submission of Material
- All academic departments and administrative offices of the University of Virginia may submit videos to be broadcast. Faculty for University classes may submit material to be broadcast.
- II. Guidelines
- All material to be broadcast must be for a University academic or administrative purpose and must be submitted by the department or division of the University requesting to have the material broadcast. The broadcast request must be accompanied by written approval of the department head, dean, or vice president. All copyright material to be broadcast must be submitted with written approval by the copyright holder stating that the material may be broadcast on the University of Virginia closed circuit system. ITC Broadcasting must be notified at least two weeks in advance of the date on which a program is requested to be broadcast. Materials must be in video VHS format.
Student Information Channels
Student Housing Cable Channel 10 and University Broadband Cable Channel 48
- I. Eligibility for Submission of Announcements
- Student organizations may submit announcements to be broadcast. Student agency organizations or special status organizations, as defined by the Dean of Students, are given first priority in submission of announcements. Other student organizations' announcements will broadcast as space allows on a first come, first serve basis. All academic departments and administrative offices of the University of Virginia may submit announcements to be broadcast.
- II. Submission Procedures
- Fill out the announcement request form for each announcement you would like displayed on the Student Information Channel (Channel 10). Announcements are updated each week on Friday morning and will run until the end date specified on the request form. Announcements must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to the Friday that the announcement is to be broadcast.
