How can I access my email account while I'm away for the summer?
If you will be away from Charlottesville, you can access your U.Va. Central Mail
Service e-mail account using your web browser and the Web Mail service. To access
Web Mail, go to
https://www.mail.virginia.edu.
For more information about remote access to email, including to U.Va. accounts
not on the Central Mail Service, please visit

I will be studying abroad next year. What will happen to my account?
If you are participating in a University-sponsored study-abroad program,
your U.Va. registration information will remain active, as will your account.
If you are participating in a program that is sponsored by another University,
check with the people sponsoring the program and your Dean/department.
If your registration will remain active in the U.Va. database, ITC will
maintain your account. If your registration will not remain active, you
should contact ITC to explain the situation and petition to have your
account remain current. You should contact
accounts@virginia.edu.
