Application Development
Description Application Development supports University of Virginia academic, research and administrative processes by assisting in the implementation of departmental and institution-wide desktop and Web applications. In support of departmental and grant-funded initiatives, database applications and reports in the Windows desktop environment can be developed, technical advice provided and implementation services for vendor products are available. For university-wide projects, the group participates, at varying levels, in the multiple stages of the implementation process: Development of Custom Internet and Web Solutions, University Environment and Data Integration, and Evaluation of Client Needs and Solution Research. The group offers the benefits of outsourcing specific projects and the continuity of the University workforce and technical infrastructure.
Fee For departmental services, contact us for a fee quote. For university-wide services, a fee may apply.
