Records Management
Description The University of Virginia is a state agency, and its offices and departments are obligated to follow the requirements of the Virginia Public Records Act (Code of Virginia, Chapter 7) for retention and disposition of records. The Records Management office's primary goal is that all records, in all formats, be efficiently managed, retained and destroyed in compliance with all administrative, audit, legal, financial, historical, and research policies and regulations of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the University of Virginia.
