Fugu: Secure FTP (SFTP) client for Mac OS X

[Nov 23, 2009 14:09] Web access to Microsoft Live@edu accounts now works.

Download and install the Fugu application from ITC Software Central.

  1. When you first open Fugu, your local directory will appear in the left-hand pane.
  2. In the right-hand pane, enter the address of the Secure FTP server to which you wish to connect.
  3. Enter your username.
  4. The Port and Directory are optional, and in most cases can be left blank.
  5. Click Connect.
  6. You will then be prompted for the password for your account.
  7. Enter your password and click Authenticate. Fugu will connect you to the server.
  8. Once you're connected, the server's filesystem will appear in the right-hand pane. Navigate to the folder from/to which you wish to transfer files.
  9. Transfer files by dragging them from one pane to the other.
