Test On-Grounds Audio Stream

Use these links to test audio streaming on a network segment on-grounds.

If you are using Internet Explorer you should see an embedded version of the Windows Media Player to the right. It will load and play a live multicast audio stream from WTJU (on grounds) .

If you are using any other browser you will see a blank square.

Use the following link to start an external version of Windows Media Player with any of these browsers:

Platform Browser Link
PC, Mac Internet Explorer On-grounds

See note about wireless service below

PC, Mac Mozilla Firefox
PC, Mac Netscape
Mac Safari
PC, Mac Opera

Wireless: The hardware that provides wireless service does not provide multicast connectivity. The Windows Media Player may be confused by the combined multicast/unicast characteristics of the standard on-grounds stream and will not play it. The best alternative for an on-grounds wireless user is to use the off-grounds stream, which is unicast and has the added advantage of being a lower bandwidth. (A laptop's audio system will do just as well with the lower bandwidth signal anyway.)
