Information for All Mobile Device Users

  • Accessing UVa Wireless Networks on Mobile Devices: At this time, most mobile devices cannot connect to UVa’s encrypted cavalier wireless network—with the exception of iPhones and iPod Touches—but they can access UVa’s unencrypted wahoo wireless network.
  • Accessing your UVa Email Account on Mobile Devices: You can configure most mobile devices to connect to your UVa email account. Follow the configuration instructions appropriate for your mobile device.
  • Tech Support for Mobile Devices: ITC provides limited technical support for smartphones—primarily configuration instructions. For help beyond initial setup, we refer you to your cellular phone carrier and/or your mobile device’s vendor website.
