This mailing list is intended for those who are developing local and Web applications involving databases, not for general entry-level database questions. It was created in conjunction with the UVa LSP program's Database Special Interest Group. The scope and functions of both the SIG and the mailing list will develop over time. Members are asked to follow standard mailing list etiquette, such as using descriptive subject lines and addressing replies to the original poster, rather than to the list, when necessary. The original poster should post a summary of responses.
