Account Administration
These pages discuss how to manage your Home Directory account: managing your quota, changing your password, recovering files, and managing groups and file ownership if you are a UNIX group administrator.
- Quotas
- Your Home Directory account has a maximum limit on how much data storage you can use (a.k.a. your disk quota). Learn how to check your quota usage, how to manage your files to fit within quota, and how to get additional storage space if you need it.
- Home Directory Passwords
- Depending on what method you use to access your Home Directory, you may use one of two passwords: Eservices or blue.unix. This page describes how to determine which one you need to use, and how to change it or recover a forgotten one.
- File Recovery
- All files in your Home Directory are backed up daily, enabling you to recover your data in case of accidental deletion.
- Group Administration
- Departmental group administrators who access their Web and/or UNIX server via Home Directory may manage their groups through MyGroups.
