Connect to Exchange

  1. If you don't have one already, request an account on the UVa Exchange Service.
  2. After you have an account, you can connect to it from your own computer when it is connected to the Internet, from any other computer with an Internet connection, and from a mobile device or smartphone:

From Your Own Computer

When using an Internet connection, connect through Microsoft Office using:

From Any Computer

With an Internet connection and a Web browser (such as Internet Explorer), you can read your Exchange mail and manage your calendar from anywhere:

Training

  • ITC has provided you with access to free, brief online training videos, viewable anytime:
    • Optional: View this Getting Started Guide (PDF) before viewing the VTC videos.
    • Ready to view now? Go to www.VTC.com and log in.
      • Former CorporateTime users: you already have an account. Log in with your UVa computing ID and password: training
      • New Exchange users and those who are unable to access the videos: email itc-training@virginia.edu to request a VTC login.
    • Search for Outlook 2007, Outlook 2003, or Entourage videos, and then view the brief segments on exactly the topics you need.
