Email at UVa
You must be a current member of the University of Virginia community to have an email account on a UVa email server or to use other UVa email services:
- UVa students may have UVa email accounts with Google and/or Microsoft Live@edu;
- UVa alumni may have UVa email accounts with Google;
- UVa faculty and staff may have UVa email accounts on UVa’s Centralized Microsoft Exchange Service and/or UVa's Central Mail Service. (The UVa Health System and some schools and departments offer their own email services to members of their communities. Please check with your organization to determine where you need an account.)

Email Message Size Restrictions
The maximum message size for sending or receiving an email message on an ITC-supported email server (Central Mail Service or UVa Exchange Service) is 50 MB; non ITC-servers may have differing size restrictions. Please check the Gmail with Google Apps or Microsoft Live sites for their message size limitations.
