Technical Issues for the Dell Precision 340

 

Precision 340 - All:

We have had a machine that was able to burn data CD's but not music CD's. Here are the steps necessary to fix this problem.

1. BIOS Flash Upgrade:

2. Flash Upgrade for CDRW drive; search by model number.

3. Properly uninstall Roxio Easy CD Creator Basic etc. software.

4. Properly reinstall 5.x version of Roxio Basic software suite.
