Web Assistant Features

The Xpressions Web Assistant will allow you to manage your voicemail box via the Internet, using your Web browser. Here are some things you can do using Web Assistant:

  • Listen to your voicemail from your home or office computer
  • Save your voicemail as a .wav file on your computer
  • Change your telephone password from your computer

Accessing the Web Assistant

Note: If you are off Grounds, you must use the Virtual Private Network (VPN) for secure access to this service.

  1. Login to the Web Assistant. First, you'll be asked to confirm your identity via NetBadge, a UVa standard authentication application. NetBadge will ask for your computing ID and one of several passwords that you may use, shown below:
    • Central Mail Service (your email password)
    • Home Directory
    • Blue Unix Cluster
    • Eservices
    • HSC Domain (Health System Outlook/Email password)
    Note: If you have already logged onto NetBadge in the past several hours, this page may be skipped automatically.
  2. After a brief delay, you will be directed to Web Assistant. You will see your name displayed at the top of this page.
  3. Three selections appear at the upper left:
    • Address Book
    • Mail Client
    • Personal Settings
